I just want to start this post out by telling everyone to listen to Marble’s House Music EP which he released earlier this year if you haven’t already because even though it went under a lot of peoples’ radars it was one of the best and most creative releases of the year. For this EP, Marble took the beautifully bold lead single, “L.L.”, off of House Music and assembled a talented and diverse roster of some of the best producers on the Soundcloud scene right now to remix it. Ta-Ku contributes a unique rap-influenced remix that samples Kanye’s greatest hook ever, Blackbird Blackbird twisted the track into a dark and melancholy shadow of the original, B.Lewis turns the track into a party-ready banger, fellow Orlando producer GRANT’s remix adds funk bass and staggering drums, and Ruddyp finishes off the EP with a trap rework. Remix EP’s can definitely get boring very quickly, but for this EP the remixers styles all differ enough to keep it exciting all the way through. Stream B. Lewis’ remix below and the whole EP after the jump.
