Over the past year or two Soundcloud has developed into an incredibly amazing resource and community for the everyday bedroom beat maker, and as a result beat makers are forced to step their game up if they want to get noticed, which I guess is a good thing.  Amidst the plethora of artists on Soundcloud, JAW JAM caught my attention immediately.  The first piece of music I heard from him was his “Mr. Me Too” remix, and even though Hell Hath No Fury is easily one of my favorite albums of all time and I wouldn’t change a thing about it, I was able to appreciate JAW JAM’s remix right away.  As you can hear in that remix and the previews of his upcoming Untitled EP, JAW JAM has a way with quirky chord progressions that sounds like if James Blake had stuck with and further developed the style of his CMYK EP.  You can stream his “Mr. Me Too” remix and a sampler of his Untitled EP  below, and then follow him on his Soundcloud page to keep an eye out for his upcoming releases.
