I recently saw The War on Drugs play a fantastic and free show in St. Louis having never listened to their music before.  I was blown away by their set that blended aspects of folk and classic rock with shoegaze and experimental music.  The video for ‘Come to the City’, a clear stand-out from their excellent LP Slave Ambient, matches the fun and lush atmosphere of the song with plenty of gorgeous, washed-out shots and rolling images of a colorful painting.
