So apparently the VMA’s happened last night.  I’m not trying to act like I’m too cool for it or anything, I probably would have watched, but I had no idea they were going on.  Taylor Swift made a diss song about Kanye and performed it calling him “32 and still growing up”, it was probably one of the worse diss songs I’ve heard seeing as it didn’t even include the any lyrics about having sexual relations with the victim’s spouse.

Regardless, for the finale Kanye West came on stage with a bright red suit and a fucking MPC and, along with Pusha T’s incredible performance, made the whole show worth it.  I am extremely glad that Pusha T decided to sign to Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D. music, because it seems like whenever the two get together they do something amazing.  I’m hoping Kanye will let loose the CDQ version of this for this week’s G.O.O.D. Friday, because a 45 second clip of it is played in the trailer for his upcoming movie, and it sounds amazing.  But for now, you can download an mp3 of the live performance below.

UPDATE: CDQ came faster than I thought.  I was right, on this track the bass and strings come out and Kanye’s verse is more sing-songy rapping than the 808′s and Heartbreaks-esque performance, and it is some of Kanye’s best work.  I am happy.  Stream and Download Below
