I have recently discovered tree new bands that I think you guys should check out.  The Very Best are an Afro-Pop band from Africa and have left quite a good impression on the indie world getting the nod from Pitchfork.  Dominant Legs is the brain child of Brian Lynch.  His sound recalls a Belle and Sebastian pop mixed with his own unique style.  Lastly is the Freelance Whales.  Sporting a banjo and glockenspiel this young band is sure to find its niche in the indie world.
